Course Overview

The partnership of director Michael Powell and screenwriter Emeric Pressburger produced such classic British films as The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, A Matter of Life and Death and The Red Shoes.  This course will explore what made their films so special and unique by examining their movies in depth, along with tales of their clashes with the British establishment.
